Mitten im idyllischen Bremer Blockland, umgeben von weitl\u00e4ufigen Wiesen und Wasserl\u00e4ufen, liegt ein Ort, der noch bis in die 2000er Jahre f\u00fcr Disziplin und Gefangenschaft stand \u2013 heute jedoch zunehmend verf\u00e4llt: die ehemalige Jugend-Justizvollzugsanstalt (JVA) an der Carl-Krohne-Stra\u00dfe. Seit ihrer Schlie\u00dfung im Jahr 2004 hat sich das Gel\u00e4nde zu einem der markantesten Lost Places in Bremen entwickelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Errichtet 1966, diente die JVA Blockland als moderne Jugendstrafanstalt mit 260 Haftpl\u00e4tzen. Sie war Teil einer Reformbewegung im Jugendstrafvollzug, die auf Resozialisierung und Bildung setzte. Doch mit der Zeit \u00e4nderten sich die Konzepte, und die Zahl der Inhaftierten nahm ab. 2004 wurden die letzten Jugendlichen nach Oslebshausen verlegt und die Anstalt geschlossen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Festival, Unterbringung, soziales Zentrum? Zukunft ungewiss<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit der Schlie\u00dfung steht das Gel\u00e4nde leer. Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr eine Nachnutzung gab es viele: ein Heim f\u00fcr unbegleitete minderj\u00e4hrige Fl\u00fcchtlinge, ein Festivalgel\u00e4nde oder ein Zentrum f\u00fcr soziale Projekte. Doch bis heute wurde keine dieser Ideen umgesetzt. Die Geb\u00e4ude sind marode, teilweise mit Asbest belastet und die Infrastruktur veraltet. Eine Machbarkeitsstudie f\u00fcr ein Festivalgel\u00e4nde, erstellt vom Hannoveraner Unternehmen Endboss, wurde mittlerweile verworfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trotz oder gerade wegen des Verfalls zieht der Ort Fotografen, sogenannte Urban Explorer und Neugierige an. Die verrosteten Gitter, \u00fcberwucherten Wege und verblassten Graffitis erz\u00e4hlen Geschichten von einer Zeit, die l\u00e4ngst vergangen ist. Der Charme des Verlassenen macht die ehemalige JVA bis heute zu einem faszinierenden Lost Place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Was aus dem Areal wird? Ungewiss. W\u00e4hrend einige auf eine kulturelle oder soziale Nutzung hoffen, stehen dem rechtliche und bauliche H\u00fcrden entgegen. Zu marode sind viele Geb\u00e4ude, zu hoch offenbar die Kosten, um wieder Leben auf dem Gel\u00e4nde einziehen zu lassen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bremen.
